Es hat ihn nicht gegeben, den Garten, solange ich ihn nicht gesehen habe
Performance, 30`, Imaginaziun, Sumvitg GR, 2021
The historic Lechmann House in Sumvitg used to be a meeting place for social, cultural and political concerns in the village and the surrounding region. During a two-day cultural event, the house was to be given a new lease of life. The four female performers move through the squat rooms at regular intervals; they are silent guests or even ghosts of the past. A female voice, audible from several portable loudspeakers, is carried and scattered through the various spaces. The fragmentary, condensed texts reflect from an intimate, personal life situation which gain also general validity; thoughts about transitional times, uncertainty, but also how to find a new understanding (through other sensing and perceiving) about hope, and about the possible.
